Ranko S. Pudar, PhD, PMP, PE, CFM
President


Mr. Pudar is a senior level Program Manager consultant with over 30 years of experience in hazard mitigation, benefit-cost analysis, risk and vulnerability assessments, floodplain mapping and management, hazard mitigation planning, and program and project management.


Mr. Pudar has an educational background in water resources and floodplain management, having served both as a federal employee and as a consultant. Under nationwide contract with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Mr. Pudar provided services as FEMA Region IV mitigation (HMTAP) coordinator for a major technical consultant between 1998 and 2009. Since then, he has served as the President of Pudar Mitigation Consulting, where he is actively involved in mitigation management and leadership on local and regional levels. Of particular importance is his programmatic and operational skills utilized in post hurricane efforts in major US urban areas: Hurricane Sandy disaster relief in New York City (FEMA Region II) and Hurricane Harvey disaster relief in Houston (Region VI).


Mr. Pudar is widely recognized as an expert in hazard mitigation, risk assessment, floodplain management, and benefit-cost analysis. He is actively involved in national policy developments through Association of Floodplain Managers (ASFPM).
